Veteran Anime Director Junichi Sato Appearing at Ushicon 2012
Austin, TX - November 10, 2011 - Ushicon 2012 is proud to announce prolific, veteran director, Junichi Satō as our latest anime industry guest for Ushicon 2012 on February 3 - 5, in north Austin, TX.
Junichi Satō has already had an incredibly successful and prolific career in anime, working on some of the greatest titles fandom has ever seen, and he's not done yet. Sato is well known for his work on some of the most beloved shoujo anime including "Sailor Moon" and "Princess Tutu". He has also worked on a vast array of what fans refer to as 'healing' anime, like "Aria" and his current series "Tamayura", and was also the creator of such series as "Magic Users Club", "Prétear" and "Kaleido Star". Sato has an extensive range of work, including various hits like "Gate Keepers", "Sgt. Frog (Keroro Gunsō)", "Ojamojo Doreimi", "Slayers Premium" and "Futago Hime". He's also done storyboard work for an extensive litany of well known anime. Sato comes to Ushicon bearing a wealth of experience in the anime industry and extensive knowledge to share with fans.
This will mark Junichi Satō's first ever American anime convention appearance.
