Art of War Releases New Berserk Griffith Statues
October 27th 2011, Tokyo, Japan-–ART OF WAR is pleased to announce that pre-orders for
the “Griffith 2011 Ver.” will start on October 29, 2011.
“Griffith 2011 Ver.” is ART OF WAR'S first Griffith bust, 1:6 scale. It is more dynamic and powerful in comparison to their previous Griffith statues. The detail of the sculpture and paint application on this project is fantastic. ART OF WAR used subtle gradations of color to bring out the luster of Griffith's armor and give the mantle delicate effects of light and shade. There are two versions. Their complex paint job will allow you to enjoy different images of Griffith.
“Griffith 2011 Ver.- Exclusive Version 1 (Red Mantle)” is 40,000 Japanese Yen (about
US$524), limited to only 50 pieces. For the exclusive version 1, they used silver and
purple gradation to represent the armor. And this version includes a flag of the Band of the
Hawks. The Exclusive Version 2 (Blue Mantle) is 38,000 Japanese Yen (about US$497),
limited to 100 pieces. This Griffith bust is on a marble-painted base, and the helmet visor is
moveable.
New Griffith statues are estimated to be released at the end of January or early February 2012. And the first film of the Berserk movie series will be premiered in January. This is a great opportunity to pre-order a Berserk project now.
