West Palm Beach, FL, Nov. 15, 2010FUNimation Channel, the nation's only 24/7 HD Anime TV Network, is unveiling four new titles to its primetime line-up. Also returning to the network in HD are movies and fan-favorite series such as “Full Metal Panic!” and the “xxxHOLiC/Tsubasa” double-feature.

Starting November 15, FUNimation Channel will unveil a new primetime line-up from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. Eastern on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Viewers can expect new weekly episodes of the animated series “Oh! Edo Rocket”, “Corpse Princess”, “Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings” and “Spice and Wolf”. While in the daytime viewers can expect the premieres of “Full Metal Panic!: FUMOFFU” and “School Rumble OAV”.

“We are excited to add new shows to the network's primetime schedule,” said Tim Kelly, vice-president of sales and distribution for FUNimation Channel. “We will also unveil additional programming blocks in the coming year and we encourage our fan base to join the Get the FUNimation Channel campaign. As the channel expands, so will our programming.”

About the new series:

Oh! Edo Rocket” – This 26-episode comedy is set in 1842 Edo, when government reforms have banned all luxuries, including plays, inventions, and fireworks. Despite the political climate, Seikichi, a young fireworks maker, dreams of making a huge firework the likes of which have never been seen. Unfortunately, every time he fires a test rocket the government officials try to track him down. One day, a beautiful, mysterious girl appears before Seikichi and asks him to build a rocket that can reach the moon.

Corpse Princess” – A 13-episode supernatural series tells the tale of a girl named Makina who is one of the living dead. If she is to ever find peace, she must hunt down and destroy her own kind. Aided by a secret society of monks, Makina's quest to rid the world of the undead begins.

Sengoku Basara” – Based on the CAPCOM videogame, Sengoku Basara drops you directly into the burning battlefields of feudal Japan, where rival warlords hack and slash their way to total domination. Each conqueror wields a special attack that boosts their powers of devastation, and each commands a horde of relentless warriors. But when a supreme evil – the Demon Lord – threatens the land, these fierce generals launch a co-op campaign of annihilation and build an army of armies to obliterate their common foe. As the front line grows crowded with gun-toting, mechanized samurai and mystical ninja, some will say that war is hell – Sengoku Basara proves it can also be kick ass.

Spice and Wolf” - Lawrence, a traveling merchant searching for profit, finds a naked girl with the ears and tail of a wolf asleep in his cart. Her name is Holo – a harvest goddess with an untamed beast lurking inside who longs to return to her beloved northern home. Armed with his street smarts and her animal instincts, a simple peddler and a forgotten deity begin a journey through the wild countryside.

In addition to the new primetime titles, the channel will also feature the return of fan-favorite series “Full Metal Panic!”. The 24 episode sci-fi action series is about a teenaged military specialist working for a secret organization assigned to protect a young woman, who just happens to be the most popular girl at school.

Anime movies will also appear on the network starting November 15 with “Origin: Spirits of the Past” and the “xxxHOLiC/Tsubasa” double-feature in HD.
