Summit Entertainment to Release “Astro Boy” on DVD and Blu-Ray March 16, 2010

Los Angeles (February 9, 2010) — Summit Entertainment is proud to announce the March 16, 2010 DVD release of ASTRO BOY. Presented by Summit Entertainment and IMAGI Studios, ASTRO BOY features an all-star cast of voice talent including Freddie Highmore, Kristen Bell, Nathan Lane, Eugene Levy, Bill Nighy, Donald Sutherland, Samuel L. Jackson, Charlize Theron and Nicolas Cage as “Dr. Tenma.” Based on the beloved manga and anime created by Osamu Tezuka, ASTRO BOY is directed by David Bowers (Flushed Away), and written by Timothy Hyde Harris (Kindergarten Cop, Space Jam, Trading Places) and Bowers. Summit Entertainment released ASTRO BOY theatrically in the U.S. on October 23, 2009.
