Naruto movie premiere a hit with Starlight Foundation and celebrities

Teen Stars from “High School Musical” to “Roll Bounce” Celebrate with Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation at NARUTOTM Premiere

San Francisco, CA, June 05, 2007 – Teen stars celebrated this weekend at the SPECIAL GALA PREMIERE of NARUTO™ THE MOVIE: NINJA CLASH IN THE LAND OF SNOW benefiting STARLIGHT STARBRIGHT CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION at the Harmony Gold Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 2nd.

The capacity crowd included numerous industry guests such as Dominic Scott Kay from Pirates of the Caribbean, Chris Warren Jr. and Kaycee Stroh from Disney's High School Musical, Justin Chon (Just Jordan), twins Bridger and Brecken Palmer (Suite Life of Zack and Cody), Marcus Paulk d Take the Lead and Bounce, Aimee Lynn Chadwick (Dead Girls Club) as well as additional teen talent from Nickelodeon's Zoey 101, Ned's Declassified and Discovery Kids' Flight 29 Down and more. Joining these teen stars were the cast voice talent from NARUTOTM.

The guests left the screening offering universal praise for the film. Even more importantly, the premiere was a ‘Great Escape’ for Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation. Viz Media and Hollywood's hottest teen talent united to welcome over 100 Starlight Starbright children and their family members to enjoy an afternoon of fun and friendship. Great Escapes provide families with the chance to spend quality time together — away from the hospital and medical treatments — so that they can relax, regroup, and return home with a new-found sense of strength and hope.

Liza Coppola, Sr. Vice President, Marketing, Viz Media put it this way, “Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation is committed to improving the quality of life for millions of seriously ill children and their families, and we are excited about the opportunity to utilize the tremendous popularity of anime and NARUTO to further this mission.”

NARUTO THE MOVIE is rated "T" for Teens and will play in select theaters in every major market in the country through National Cinemedia's Fathom on one night only, Wednesday June 6th at 7:00 p.m. local time. A complete list of cities is located at www.Naruto.com.
