SHINOBI: HIDDEN TECHNIQUES

Dark motives require even darker methods.

Get ready for the third action packed volume of the live-action epic Shinobi franchise with the March 15, 2005 release of Shinobi: Hidden Techniques. In this sword-frenzied ninja action/adventure, the blood doesn't stop flowing as long as someone's still standing!

Director and martial arts action guru Kenji Tanigaki (Princess Blade, Blade II) brings the legend and tradition of the ninja to life in the action-packed Shinobi series. With furious martial arts and sword-play that will you leave you breathless, this action-packed feature-length film is sure to bring you to the edge of your seat. And with ADV's exclusive bonus “Literal Translation” dub track (that lets you know what the characters are “really” saying,) you can get a glimpse of how things can get confusing and, as we found

out, rather humorous when all the grammar mistakes inherent in translation are gloriously mixed with completely inappropriate casting.

Kagerou and Aoi have managed to escape the powerful clutches of Shuuzan and his men as well as the vengeful rage of Jinsei – the Shinobi Murderer. But their troubles are far from over. The deceitful Rokkaku continues to slither and weave deadly plots serving no one but himself. Also, the battles for power within the region intensify as warriors from across Iga are now in flux – shifting sides in a myriad of fearful decisions and confused intentions. If Kagerou and Aoi are to have any hopes of survival, they must get out of Iga. But between themselves and the border stands a barrier of both friends and enemies – neither of which can they trust.

Shinobi: Hidden Techniques (SRP $19.98) is a DVD-only release containing a 80 minute feature-length film presented in letterbox format with English 5.1 and Japanese 2.0 with English subtitles versions. Extras include a literal translation version of the film as well as ADV previews.
