Ani-One Asia announced on Facebook on Friday that it will stream the second season of the anime of author Roy and illustrator Ririnra's By the Grace of the Gods (Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko) light novel series on YouTube on January 8. The channel will simulcast an episode of the anime every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. IST.

Alongside Hong Kong and India, the anime season will stream in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, the Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Palau, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Ani-One describes the season:

Ryoma was a child who was reincarnated into another world. After meeting warm people such as Reinhart Jamil, he began to enjoy life there. One day, someone suggested he open his 2nd store in another town. Ryoma was about to leave the original town! There will be new encounters and challenges waiting for Ryoma to experience!

The second season of the anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on January 8. Yuka Yamada (Slow Loop, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, Asteroid in Love) is now in charge of the series scripts, replacing Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. MindaRyn performs the opening theme song "Way to go," and Azusa Tadokoro performs the ending theme song "Drum-Shiki Tansaki" (Drum-Ceremony Probe).

The first anime premiered in Japan in October 2020. Ani-One streamed the anime in India as it aired in Japan. Netflix began streaming the anime in March 2021.

Roy began serializing the story on the "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" (Let's Become Novelists) website in 2014, before ending it and launching a new version of the story in 2015. The newer serialization is ongoing. J-Novel Club is publishing the novels digitally in English.

Ranran launched a manga adaptation of the novels in Square Enix's Manga Up! app in November 2017. Square Enix Manga & Books is releasing the manga in English.
