Muse Asia Streams Mieruko-chan, Mushoku Tensei, 4 More Anime in October

Muse Asia announced its simulcast schedule for October on Facebook on Thursday. The company's YouTube channel will stream:

• The television anime of Tomoki Izumi's Mieruko-chan horror comedy manga on October 3 at 7:30 p.m. IST.
• The sequel (second cours or second quarter of a year) of the television anime of Rifujin na Magonote's Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novel series on October 4 at 9:30 p.m. IST.
• The television anime of Rui Tsukiyo and Reia's The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat (Sekai Saikō no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei Suru) light novels on October 6 at 8:30 p.m. IST.
• The Muv-Luv Alternative anime on October 6 at 11:00 p.m. IST.
• The Rumble Garanndoll (Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Shōjo: Rumble Garanndoll, literally, Turnabout World's Battery Girl) anime on October 11 at 8:30 p.m. IST.
• The Kaginado (Key, Etc.) television anime, the first crossover anime series featuring the franchises by Visual Arts' Key brand, on October 12 at 10:00 p.m. IST.

The channel also began streaming the anime for the Selection Project "idol x audition x reality show" multimedia project on Friday. Additionally, Muse Asia began streaming Getsuyōbi no Tawawa 2 (Tawawa on Monday Two), the second season of the short anime of Kiseki Himura's Getsuyōbi no Tawawa (Tawawa on Monday) illustrations, on September 20.

Alongside India, Muse Asia will stream the anime in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Pakistan.

Mieruko-chan will premiere on October 3 and will air on AT-X, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS-NTV.

The show stars Sora Amamiya as Miko Yotsuya, Kaede Hondo as Hana Yurikawa, and Ayane Sakura as Yulia Nikaidō.

Yen Press publishes the manga in English, and it describes the story:

One day, Miko suddenly started seeing grotesque beings that others couldn't. Her response was not to run, not to face them, but to do everything she can to completely ignore them! Can she keep a straight face and continue her day-to-day life while surrounded by horrifying monsters?

Sora Amamiya will also perform opening theme song "Mienai Kara ne!?" (Since You Can't See Them, Right!?) and the ending theme song "Mita na? Mita yo ne?? Miteru yo ne???" (You Saw It? You Saw It, Right?? You're Seeing It Right Now, Right???) as her character.

Yuki Ogawa (FLCL Progressive, Miru Tights, Interspecies Reviewers) is directing the anime at Passione. Kenta Ihara (Saga of Tanya the Evil, Cautious Hero, Shachibato! President, It's Time for Battle!) is supervising and writing the series scripts. Chikashi Kadekaru (Juni Taisen: Zodiac War, For Whom the Alchemist Exists) is designing the characters, and is also a chief animation director. Makoto Uno (High School DxD Hero, Interspecies Reviewers) is designing the monsters. Takahiro Majima (Interspecies Reviewers) and Shintarō Matsushima are serving as assistant director and directing assistant, respectively. Kana Utatane (RE-MAIN) is composing the music.

The second cours of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will premiere on October 3 and will air in Japan on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and BS11.

The first anime premiered on the Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and BS11 channels on January 10.

Manabu Okamoto (Gamers!) is directing the series at Studio Bind. Egg Firm is also credited for production. Kazutaka Sugiyama (animation director for DARLING in the FRANXX) is designing the characters. Yuiko Ōhara produced, wrote, scored, and sang both the opening theme song and the ending theme song for the first half of the series.

Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed both the light novel series and Yuka Fujikawa's manga adaptation. The company has also licensed Shoko Iwami's Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Gets Serious (Mushoku Tensei ~Roxy Datte Honki Desu~) spinoff manga.

The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat will premiere AT-X, Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and TV Aichi on October 6, and on BS NTV on October 7. It will also stream first through Abema TV in Japan on October 6 before streaming on other services.

Masafumi Tamura (Wise Man's Grandchild, The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Two Car) is directing the anime at SILVER LINK and Studio Palette, and Katsuhiko Takayama (Two Car, Ange Vierge, The Future Diary) is both writing and overseeing the series scripts. Eri Nagata (Ensemble Stars!, Blade & Soul) is designing the characters. Yui Ninomiya will perform the opening theme song "Dark Seeks Light," and Aira Yūki will perform the ending theme song "A Promise."

Yen Press is releasing the novels in English, and it describes the story:

When a great assassin is reborn in another world, he finds himself the heir to a long line of killers from the shadows. With both his modern-day knowledge and experience and the special magic and techniques of this new world, he could very well become the most unstoppable assassin in history…!

Tsukiyo began serializing the story on the "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" (Let's Become Novelists) website in July 2018. Kadokawa began publishing the story in print volumes with illustrations by Reia in February 2019.

Hamao Sumeragi launched a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Young Ace Up manga website in January 2019. Yen Press is also releasing the manga in English.

The Muv-Luv Alternative anime will premiere on October 6 on Fuji TV's [+Ultra] programming block.

The story is about humans who wage a long battle against the extraterrestrial species BETA, with humanoid weapons known as Tactical Surface Fighters.

Yukio Nishimoto (Animal Yokocho, The Galaxy Railways, Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION 2) is directing the anime at Flagship Line and Yumeta Company x Graphinica. Tatsuhiko Urahata (Baki, GATE, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, Sakura Wars the Animation) is in charge of the series scripts, and Takuya Tani (Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles, One Room, Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn) is designing the characters. Evan Call (Schwarzes Marken, Violet Evergarden) is composing the music.

After creating Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts), adult game brand âge released the first Muv-Luv title in 2003, followed by Muv-Luv Alternative in 2006. The Muv-Luv franchise has since sold more than 500,000 games, as well as more than 3 million figures, models, and other hobby releases.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, a light novel spinoff of the franchise, inspired a manga and a television anime of the same name. Its prequel, Schwarzesmarken, also inspired an anime. âge's Kimi ga Nozomu Eien inspired a television anime that Funimation released under the title Rumbling Hearts.

The Rumble Garanndoll anime will premiere on October 11 on AT-X, Tokyo MX, Yomiuri TV, and BS11. Kadokawa Anime's YouTube channel will stream the first episode on October 3 at 8:00 p.m. (7:00 a.m. EDT) before its television broadcast.

The story begins in 2019, just before the change in historical eras for Japan. A rift to another dimension suddenly opens in the skies above, revealing a "turnabout" alternate world called "Shinkoku Nippon." This parallel version of Japan maintained its militarism and remains stuck in the Showa era. Shinkoku Nippon invades our Japan with its "Genmu" gas weapons (on which our own modern weapons have no effect) and giant humanoid "Garan" weapons. The invaders immediately take over our government and all but conquer Japan. As a result, our Japan never ushers in the Reiwa era.

A decade later, our Japan has been revamped as Genkoku Nippon, a puppet state of Shinkoku Nippon. Under harsh censorship, the once thriving manga, anime, idol, and similar sub-cultures have completely died off ... or so it seemed. A secret society named Arahabaki (a Japanese anagram of Tokyo's sub-culture shopping district Akihabara) rises up to resist Shinkoku with Garanndoll weapons powered by "battery girls."

Masaomi Andō (School-Live!, Scum's Wish, Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun, Astra Lost in Space) is directing the anime at the studio Lerche. Makoto Uezu (Scum's Wish, The Heroic Legend of Arslan, Kengan Ashura) is overseeing the series scripts, Akio Watanabe (The Fruit of Grisaia, The Eden of Grisaia) is the original character designer, and Keiko Kurosawa (Astra Lost in Space, Scum's Wish) is adapting those designs for animation. Egg Firm is producing the anime. Mia Regina is performing the anime's opening theme song "Fever Dreamer," while Aina Suzuki is performing the ending theme song "Reverse-Rebirth."

The anime will also receive a manga adaptation by Left Hand that will launch on Kadokawa's Comic Newtype website.

The Kaginado anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on October 12, on KBS Kyoto and Sun TV on October 13, on AT-X and Niigata TV 21 on October 14, on Hokuriku Asahi Broadcasting and BS NTV on October 16, on Nagano Asahi Broadcasting on October 18, and on Hokkaido TV on October 19.

Kazuya Sakamoto (Tabi-Hani) is directing the anime at Liden Films Kyoto Studio. Takashi Aoshima (Rewrite episode script writer) is the chief writer, and is penning the scripts alongside Kai and Tōya Okano. Eriko Haga is designing the characters. Kazunari Araki is credited for prop design. Yukihiro Shibutani is the art director, while Asami Kitsukawa is the color designer. Tomoaki Suzuki is the compositing director of photography. Kazuo Kajikawa is credited for editing. Akane Maeda is the sound director. Tohoku Shinsha Studio is credited for sound production. Visual Arts/Key is credited for the music.

The chibi-character anime will be a crossover of some of Key's most popular visual novel and anime titles, including Kanon, Air, Clannad, Little Busters!, Rewrite, and planetarian.

Among the franchises announced for the crossover anime, noted Key writer Jun Maeda wrote the original visual novels for all but Rewrite, and also worked on the music for all of them (including Rewrite).

Kanon debuted in 1999, while Air debuted in 2000, and Clannad in 2004. Kanon had two television anime adaptations: the first by Toei Animation in 2002, and the second by Kyoto Animation in 2006. Kyoto Animation adapted Air into a television anime in 2005 as one of its first full productions as a studio, and Toei Animation also adapted it into an anime film in the same year. Kyoto Animation also animated the 2007 television anime of Clannad.

Little Busters! debuted in 2007, with J.C. Staff's anime adaptation premiering in 2012. Rewrite debuted in 2011, with the television anime by 8 bit premiering in 2016. planetarian also inspired an anime in 2016.
