Infinite Dendrogram Released Monday

Also Collector's Blu-ray of Violet Evergarden I: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll, Zoku Owarimonogatari and Steelbook edition of Promare

On Monday August 9, Funimation will release Infinite Dendrogram as a standard and Limited Blu-ray (pictured). The Limited edition will include an 80-page art book, six art cards, the Keychain of Nemesis in sword form; and a sticker sheet with character art.

Tomoki Kobayashi (Utawarerumono, Steins;Gate, Akame ga KILL!) directed the anime. Yūichirō Momose (My First Girlfriend is a Gal, My Sister, My Writer) wrote and oversaw the series scripts, Masahiko Nakata (Utawarerumono, Tears to Tiara) adapted the character designs for animation, and Kenji Hiramatsu (Saint Seiya Omega theme song arrangement) composed the music. NAZ animated the series. Production ai handled the backgrounds, and Kisuke Koizumi was the sound director. Aoi Yūki performed the opening theme song "Unbreakable," and Aya Uchida performed the show's ending theme song "Reverb."

J-Novel Club published both the original novels and the manga adaptation digitally in English, and it described the story:

In the year 2043, Infinite Dendrogram, the world's first successful full-dive VRMMO was released. In addition to its ability to perfectly simulate the five senses, along with its many other amazing features, the game promised to offer players a world full of infinite possibilities. Nearly two years later, soon-to-be college freshman, Reiji Mukudori, is finally able to buy a copy of the game and start playing. With some help from his experienced older brother, Shu, and his partner Embryo, Reiji embarks on an adventure into the world of Infinite Dendrogram. Just what will he discover and encounter in this game world known for its incredible realism and infinite possibilities?

Anime Limited will release a Collector's Blu-ray edition of the first Violet Evergarden feature film, Violet Evergarden I: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll. It will contain an 80-page book including interviews, artwork, storyboards anf commentary from director Haruka Fujita. The set also include a 28-page Violet Evergarden short story by original writer Kana Akatsuki translated from the Japanese release.

Anime Limited describes the film's story:

"The heir to a noble house, Isabella attends a finishing school for well-groomed young women to satisfy an 'agreement' with her father. While this residence where white camellias bloom is a thing of joy and beauty for most, to her it feels like nothing more than a prison. Having resigned herself to a miserable future shorn of the hopes and dreams she once held, Isabella reluctantly meets her new manners teacher, Violet Evergarden - an experience that could change both of their outlooks on life forever."

MVM will release the 6-part series Zoku Owarimonogatari, part of the Monogatari franchise. MVM describes the series:

"Doesn't it make sense that another Araragi, the flip side of you, exists in this world?" This is what Araragi experienced during his transition from high school to college. The story of the continuation of the end (Owari). The morning after high school graduation, Koyomi is standing in front of the mirror above the sink to wash his face when he suddenly feels like his reflection is staring back at him. He instinctively reaches for the mirror, and upon touching it, his fingers sink in... When he comes to, Koyomi finds himself in a world where everything appears to be reversed.

Anime Limited will release a Steelbook edition of Studio Trigger's film Promare, with on-disc extras including the "Side: Galo" and "Side: Leo" short films.
