First episode now streaming on YouTube

Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced on Thursday that it has added the Lord Marksman and Vanadis television anime. Ani-One added the first episode with English subtitles on Thursday.

The first episode, titled "Wind Princess of the Battlefield," is available in India along with several other countries in South Asia and Southeast Asia. Ani-One describes the first episode:

In a battle on the Dinant Plains, the young Leitmeritz war maiden Eleonora Viltaria and her 5,000 troops obliterate an army of 25,000 soldiers from the Brune Kingdom, leaving the Brunish count Tigrevurmud Vorn as one of the few surviving soldiers.

The 13-episode anime premiered in Japan in October 2014.

Tatsuo Satō (Bodacious Space Pirates) directed and oversaw the scripts at Satelight (Fairy Tail). Yousuke Kabashima (The Girl Who Leapt Through Space) adapted Hinata Katagiri, Nobuhiko Yanai, and Yoshiwo's original character designs. Masaru Yokoyama (Freezing Vibration, Queen's Blade series) composed the music. Konomi Suzuki performed the opening theme, “Ginsen no Kaze” (Wind of the Silver Flash), while voice actress Hitomi Harada performed the ending theme, "Schwarzer Bogen" (Black Bow).
