Anime Limited Announcements Include Blu-ray Evangelion in 2021

Anime Limited announced several new releases during its Cloud Matsuri panel on Saturday. They include a Neon Genesis Evangelion Ultimate Edition coming in 2021, which will include the original TV series and the films Death (True)² and The End of Evangelion

The company's upcoming Blu-ray Ultimate Edition of the B: The Beginning anime will be available both in Britain and in the United States, and is detailed here; it will include the complete first season, the original soundtrack CD, a "comprehensive 160-page art book," and a set of A4-sized art prints.

Details of Anime Limited's other releases, all Blu-rays, are as follows:

- Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Collector's Blu-ray of Season 1 later in 2020, "probably in Q4."

- Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection later in 2020.

- Planetes Blu-ray release later in 2020, more details to follow in the coming months.

- K: Seven Stories Collector's Blu-ray release later in 2020, more details to follow in the coming months.

- The Bartender Collector's Edition will be released later in 2020, "aiming for Q3". This edition will include nine cocktail recipe cards (as included in the original Japanese release did) and a set of four drink coasters. The series is subtitled only, as no English edition was made.

In the Q&A, Anime Limited added that its release of Kyoto Animation's Violet Evergarden was "well under way" and that it should hopefully be out in 2020. A release of Season 1 of InuYasha was also still intended, hopefully in Q4 2020.
