I Want To Eat Your Pancreas Released on Blu-ray and DVD Monday

On Monday February 24, Manga Entertainment will release the film I want to eat your pancreas on Blu-ray and DVD. Based on a novel by Yoru Sumino, the story takes the viewpoint of an unnamed boy who happens to find a diary in a hospital one day. The diary belongs to his classmate, a girl named Sakura Yamauchi, who is revealed to be suffering from a terminal illness in her pancreas, and who only has a few months left to live. Sakura explains that the protagonist is the only person apart from her family who knows about her condition. The protagonist promises to keep Sakura's secret. Despite their completely opposite personalities, the protagonist decides to be together with Sakura during her last few months.
Anime Limited will release the first volume of the series Plastic Memories, carrying the first seven episodes on Blu-ray.
In the near future androids with the appearance of humans have spread all over the world. The most realistic androids are Giftia, produced by SA Corp they have human emotions and experiences. However the lifetime of a Giftia is 81,920 hours (roughly nine years and four months) after which the Giftia suffer personality and memory loss. As a result, SA Corp operate the Terminal service who go and recover androids close to the end of their service life and wipe their memories. In this world we follow Tsukaka Mizugaki who has just started in the Terminal Service as a Spotter paired with the veteran Marksman Giftia known as Isla who is harbouring a secret about her operations.
Yoshiyuki Fujiwara (GJ Club, Engaged to the Unidentified) directed Plastic Memories at Doga Kobo (Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily, Laughing Under the Clouds). Chiaki Nakajima (Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily, Love Lab) adapted the original character designs by okiura (Infinite Stratos). Naotaka Hayashi (Robotics;Notes, Steins;Gate, Chaos;HEAd) was credited as the project's original creator and he wrote the scripts for the "story of meetings and partings."
Manga Entertainment will also release the tenth volume of Dragon Ball Super on both Blu-ray and DVD, carrying episodes 118 to 131 of the series.
Anime Limited will release a new Blu-ray/DVD edition of the Kyoto Animation film A Silent Voice. It will include five art cards and a replica of the 2017 UK poster of the film.
Anime Limited will also release the film Calamity of a Zombie Girl on Blu-ray. The story revolves around a beautiful girl named Euphrosyne who is regretfully a zombie. Euphrosyne wakes up in an underground archive of a university, where a maid named Alma tells her, "Madam, kill the students and retrieve the 'Secret Stone.'" (Note: last week, on February 17, it was wrongly stated that Calamity of a Zombie Girl would be released then. Apologies for the mistake.)
