FLCL Vinyl Release Details

Anime Limited has announced details of its forthcoming vinyl release of the soundtrack of the 2000 OAV series FLCL (aka Fooly Cooly). It will be released on November 11 as a two LP set, and will be contained in gatefold packaging (pictured). Liner notes will include the lyrics to the songs.

This is a limited edition with a one-time print run, using masters supplied by King Records in Japan. Further soundtracks are planned for future release, including the soundtrack for Kyoto Animation's film A Silent Voice.

Anime Limited hold the licence to the FLCL soundtrack in all English-speaking territories (though it does not hold the licence to the anime itself). It is now available for pre-order from the AllTheAnime site for customers in the UK and Ireland, and from the TheRightStuf site in North America.

Anime Limited also says that it intends to release a CD edition of the soundtrack in the future, but has no further details at this time.
