posted on by Karen Ressler
TV Asia reported on Tuesday that Japan's TV Asahi and its anime production subsidiary Shin-Ei Animation are partnering with Indian Studio Green Gold Animation to produce new episodes of the Ninja Hattori (Ninja Hattori-kun) anime.
Shin-Ei Animation producer Yūichi Nagata commented that collaboration will be between Shin-ei's creative content and Green Gold Animation's "quality of skills in animation making and diligence."
Shin-ei has been producing new episodes of Ninja Hattori specifically for India since 2012, though episodes have also aired in Japan. The company previously collaborated with India's Reliance MediaWorks.
The 1980s Ninja Hattori-kun anime adapted Doraemon co-creator Motoo Abiko's manga of the same name. The original show began airing in India in 2006.
