Robotics;Notes DaSH Game's Video Previews Full Opening Song

Sequel game for PS4/Switch launches on November 22

MAGES. president Chiyomaru Shikura began streaming a five-minute video previewing the full opening song for Robotics;Notes DaSH, the sequel game to MAGES.' Robotics;Notes visual novel, on Tuesday. The video introduces the returning Robotics;Notes characters, as well as Steins;Gate character Itaru "Daru" Ishida, who is joining the cast. The opening song is "Avant Story" by Zwei.

The video also teases other Steins;Gate characters and events. Robotics;Notes and Steins;Gate are independent stories that take place in the same universe; thus far Nae Tennouji was the only Steins;Gate character to also play a prominent role in Robotics;Notes. Shikura said in a Twitter post that Robotics;Notes still stands alone and that he edited the video for his own enjoyment.

The game will ship for the PlayStation 4 and Switch in Japan on November 22. The sequel story will center around the former members of the Robot Club after they have graduated from high school.

The original Robotics;Notes PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 visual novel, the third in MAGES. and 5pb.'s "Science Adventure" series after Chaos;HEAd and Steins;Gate, shipped in Japan in 2012. A PlayStation Vita port titled Robotics;Notes Elite debuted in 2014 with new animated scenes. Spike Chunsoft is planning to release the game in the West. Robotics;Notes Elite will get a Switch version on November 22.

The game inspired a television anime in 2012. Funimation released the series in North America.
