Ace Attorney's New Stage Play Reveals 13 Cast Members

The official website for Gyakuten Saiban -Gyakuten no GOLD MEDAL- (Ace Attorney -Turnabout GOLD MEDAL), the new stage play based on CAPCOM's Ace Attorney games, revealed the show's 13 main cast members on Friday.
The play will feature the stage play debut of the character Godot, and will also have five original characters designed by the series character designer Tatsurō Iwamoto.
The cast includes:
Shō Katō as Ryūichi Naruhodō (Phoenix Wright)
Nogizaka46 member Reno Nakmura as Mayoi Ayasato (Maya Fey)
Aren Kohatsu as Reiji Mitsurugi (Miles Edgeworth)
Yūki Tomotsune as Godot
Masaya Suzuki as Keisuke Itonokogiri (Dick Gumshoe)
Sōichirō Sorihashi as Masashi Yahari (Larry Butz)
Former Takarazuka Revue Flower troupe's Mio Hanana as Mei Karuma (Franziska von Karma)
Megumi Kuge as Kaoru Ōba (Wendy Oldbag)
Former SKE48 member Masana Ōya as Yōko Fukashigi
Kōji Kominami as Yorkshire Belgian
Seiya Konishi as Jack Clomack
Hiroshi Tagami as Antino Nivantes
Mondo Ukai as Mardia Barenbo
Yō Hosaka is directing the play, and Eisaku Satō is penning the script. Super Eccentric Theater is producing the play. The play will have nine performances from January 16 to 21 at Theater 1010 next year.
The franchise's most recent stage play debuted in 2016.
The first television anime adaptation of the games premiered in April 2016 and covered the first two games in the series. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Funimation released the first part on home video in January, and released the second part in May. The second season premiered on Saturday. Funimation will offer a simuldub for the new season.
CAPCOM will release the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy (Gyakuten Saiban 1 2 3 Naruhodō Selection) game collection for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) in early 2019. The trilogy will compile the first three games in the Ace Attorney franchise.
