posted on by Karen Ressler
Sega of America began streaming a trailer for Yakuza Studios' Fist of the North Star PlayStation 4 game, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, on Wednesday. The video highlights the combat and Kenshirō's fighting techniques. (Note: Video may be not safe for work.)
Sega of America will release the game physically and digitally in North America and Europe on October 2, and it will have both English and Japanese audio options. First print editions will come with two "death cry" decals.
Sega of America noted that the localized version will have everything that is in the Japanese version, "plus extra carnage."
The game shipped in Japan on February 22.
Yakuza Studio developed the game in the vein of its Yakuza titles. The game takes place in the world of Fist of the North Star, and features a completely original story. The game has familiar characters from Fist of the North Star, as well as new characters that original manga artist Tetsuo Hara designed for the game. Takaya Kuroda, who plays Kazuma Kiryū in the Yakuza games, voiced Kenshirō in the Japanese version.
