posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official Twitter account for Production I.G's Anime Beans app announced on Friday that an anime adaptation of Sui Sōda's Kiss Made, Ato 1-Byō. (A Second Away from a Kiss.) manga debuted on the app on the same day. The first eight episodes are available for free. The anime is produced in "Tate Anime" (Vertical Anime) format.
The account also announced that the anime adaptation of Amidamuku's Meshi Numa. now has a new version that adds "more sexiness" to the anime. The anime premiered at the end of May earlier this year.
Kiss Made, Ato 1-Byō. centers on the relationship between Rikka Ichinohe and Izuru Nikki, two childhood friends. Izuru always orders Rikka around, and Rikka always ends up going along with it. Their class is putting on a play for the school's cultural festival, and Rikka is hastily put into the role of a princess, and Izuru as the prince. When they perform the play, Izuru ends up kissing Rikka for real, even though they were only supposed to act it out.
Rie Takahashi voices Rikka. Kengo Kawanishi voices Izuru. Arisa Nakata voices Moegi Sawano.
Sōda published the original manga in 2016 with one compiled book volume.
The new Anime Beans app offers popular television anime as well as vertical anime, which the Tate Anime app previously exclusively offered. Tate Anime ended service on May 31, and was replaced by Anime Beans. Production I.G launched the Tate Anime app in June 2017.
