Ore ga Suki nano wa Imōto dakedo Imōto ja nai Anime's Main Cast, Staff, Visuals Unveiled

Tasuku Hatanaka, Reina Kondo star in October anime about light novel writer siblings

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Seiji Ebisu's Ore ga Suki nano wa Imōto dakedo Imōto ja nai (The One I Love is My Little Sister But She's Not a Little Sister) light novel series revealed the anime's main cast, more staff, and new visuals on Friday.

The main cast includes:

Tasuku Hatanaka as Yū Nagami

Reina Kondo as Suzuka Nagami

The new staff includes Yūichirō Momose (My First Girlfriend is a Gal) for series composition, Masakazu Miyake (Girls' Last Tour) as art director, Kumiko Yanagisawa (Konohana Kitan) as color designer, Kisuke Koizumi (Parasyte -the maxim-) as sound director, and Yashikin (My First Girlfriend is a Gal) as composer.

Hiroyuki Furukawa (My First Girlfriend is a Gal, My Wife is the Student Council President director and character designer, Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia director) is directing the series and adapting Gintarō's character designs for animation. NAZ and new studio Magia Doraglier are producing the series. Furukawa announced in September 2017 that he had established the new studio.

The anime will premiere in October.

The "awkward sibling romantic comedy" series centers around the younger sister Suzuka Nagami and the older brother Yū Nagami. Suzuka is a beautiful third-year middle school student who has excellent grades and is the student council president. She wrote a novel about a little sister who dotes on her older brother, and the novel wins a light novel award. After they discuss the matter, Yū is the one who debuts as a proxy light novel author instead of Suzuka, under the pen name Chikai Towano.

Ebisu launched the light novel series with illustrator Gintarō in 2016, and Kadokawa published the sixth novel on April 20. Kō Narita launched an ongoing manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Dragon Age magazine in December.
