Other guests announced for Fuji TV's new +Ultra programming block

Anime Expo announced that it will host guests for a panel on Fuji TV's upcoming +Ultra anime programming block and its first two anime titles Ingress and revisions on July 7.

For Ingress, guests include director Yūhei Sakuragi and producers Tomohiko Ishii of CRAFTER and Akitoshi Mori of Fuji TV. Niantic CEO John Hanke will also attend the event.

The anime is based on Niantic's game app of the same name, which launched in 2012. The anime will premiere in October.

Sakuragi (The Relative Worlds) is directing the anime at Craftar with assistant director Yoshinari Irikawa, and Sōki Tsukishima (Final Fantasy Type-0: Change the World novels) and Tora Tsukishima are writing the scripts. Hidehiro Kawai(The Relative WorldsPhantom of the Kill -Zero Kara no Hangyaku-) is composing the music. Takeshi Honda (Beyond, Blue Submarine No. 6, Den-noh Coil, Millennium Actress) is credited with the original character designs.

For revisions, the guests are producers Kazuya Ide of Shirogumi and Toshiaki Obata of SLOWCURVE.

The series is an original work and it will premiere in January 2019.

Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass, Active Raid, ID-0, Planetes) is directing the series at studio Shirogumi (Etotama, Antique Bakery, Nyanbo!). S.F.S is credited with the original work. Sunao Chikaoka (Abnormal Physiology Seminar, blossom, Kyo no Gononi) is designing the original character designs, and Jun Shirai (key animator for Blood-C, Ghost in the Shell Arise) is adapting those designs for CG. Makoto Fukami (Berserk 2016 and 2017, Psycho-Pass) and Taichi Hashimoto (producer for Rosario + Vampire Capu2, Speed Grapher) are handling the series composition.

The +Ultra programming block will premiere in October as a 30-minute block. Fuji TV unveiled both the Ingress and revisions anime in March.

This year's Anime Expo will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 5 to July 8, with a pre-show event on July 4.
