The May issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine announced on Tuesday that the P4U2: Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold manga will end in the magazine's June issue on April 27. The manga's fourth volume will ship on June 27.
Manga artist Rokuro Saitō (God Eater manga adaptations, Sky Gear) launched the manga in spring 2015. Kadokawa published the manga's third volume on September 27.
The PlayStation 3 game Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold shipped in Japan in August 2014, and Atlus released the game in North America for PS3 and Xbox 360 as Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in September 2014.
The game is a sequel to the 2012 game Persona 4 Arena (Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena), a fighting game spinoff of the Persona 4 role-playing game. Kyū Aiya (Tate no Yūsha no Nariagari) drew the three-volume Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena manga adaptation in the Dengeki Maoh magazine from 2013-2014.
