Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Trailer Previews DLC Characters

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming a trailer on Saturday featuring upcoming downloadable contents for its Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC game. The trailer highlights the first DLC batch and upcoming characters on the second and third batch.

The first DLC batch, "Jūka no Hasha," features the following additions:

  • New playable characters Yamikaze, Dyne, and Musketeer X
  • Deathmatch Battle for online versus mode
  • Battle of Bullets mode: Fighting characters at random (offline play only)
  • New story and quests
  • High-level difficulty dungeons and enemies
  • New characters, costumes, and hairstyles

The second DLC batch features characters Shirley, Clarence from Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online. The third DLC batch features characters Alice, Eugeo from Sword Art Online: Alicization.

Each DLC batch can be purchased for 1,200 Yen Plus tax, but players can obtain all three DLC batches by purchasing a DLC Season Pass. The DLCs will be available for download in Spring 2018.

The game will also add other characters from Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online: Llenn, Pitohui, M, and Fukaziroh will be available in Hero Battle Mode. The Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online anime will premiere in April.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet launched in Japan on February 8 and in the West on February 23.

The game developed by Dimps is a third-person shooter role-playing game based in the fictional Gun Gale Online virtual-reality massively multiple online role-playing game. The fictional game is featured in the Sword Art Online II television anime series, and Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is the franchise's first game based in Gun Gale Online. Original light novel creator Reki Kawahara supervised the game's original story. Players' choices and interaction determine the course of the story. Players can create skills and abilities and utilize new weapons.
