Fate/Extella Game Gets Spinoff Manga on March 6

Fate/Ikustella manga spinoff centers on baby Masters that Servants have to take care of

The official Twitter account of Kadokawa's Young Ace Up manga website revealed on Wednesday that Rōto Usagi will launch a new manga titled Fate/Ikustella in the website on March 6. The manga is a spinoff based on Marvelous and Type-Moon's Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star game, and is set in a parallel world where the Masters are babies that Servants Nero, Tamamo, and Altera have to take care of.

XSEED Games and Marvelous released Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe in January 2017. The game launched for the same platforms in Japan in November 2016. Marvelous released a Nintendo Switch version last July. XSEED Games also released a PC version on Steam last July. A new version of Fate/EXTELLA titled Fate/Extella Link will debut for the PS4 and PS Vita in Japan on June 7.

Kinoko Nasu wrote the game's main scenario, and Hikaru Sakurai was the scenario assistant. Arco Wada designed the characters, and Takashi Takeuchi was credited as the Fate series original character designer. Type-Moon produced the game's music.
