Kurogane/Mononofu creator Haruto Ikezawa's new series launches on March 12

This year's 13th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced on Monday that three new series will launch in March.

Gege Akutami will launch Jujutsu Kaisen (Sorcery Fight, pictured above) in the next issue on March 5. The magazine teases a dark fantasy story that involves cleansing curses with sorcery.

Shonen Jump previously published Akutami's "Nikai Bongai Barabarujura" one-shot as part of its "Gold Future Cup" contest for up-and-coming artists in 2016.

Haruto Ikezawa will launch Noahs Notes (top in image above) in the magazine's 15th issue on March 12.

Ikezawa debuted with the kendo manga Kurogane, which ran in Shonen Jump from 2011 to 2013. Ikezawa then published Mononofu from 2015 to 2016. Shonen Jump posted the first chapter of Kurogane in English on its website, and Viz Media previewed Mononofu.

Kentarō Hidano will launch a manga titled Ziga (bottom in image above) based on Rokurō Sano's original story in the 16th issue on March 19.

Hidano's first work in Shonen Jump was the "Kuro no Mansion" one-shot manga with writer Hayato Yabuki in 2010, and the pair also drew the two-chapter "Kuhiko-san" manga on the Shonen Jump Plus app in 2014.
