Pokémon GO Adds Rayquaza, More Hoenn Pokémon

Rayquaza to be available in Raid Battles until March 16
Niantic announced on Thursday that it will add Rayquaza and more Pokémon from the Hoenn region to its Pokémon GO smartphone game on Friday. Rayquaza will be available in Raid Battles until March 16.
Until February 13, Hoenn region Pokémon will take over wild encounters. Niantic also announced that different Pokémon will begin appearing in Raid Battles and hatching from eggs.
Niantic added Kyogre last month and Groudon the month before. Kyogre will be available until February 14. The first 50 Pokémon from the Hoenn region debuted in the game in December, and Niantic added 23 more Hoenn region Pokémon on January 23.
The Pokémon GO app launched in select countries including the United States in July 2016.
