Roar of Awakening compiles the second TV season

Anime Limited has confirmed that the film Attack on Titan: The Roar of Awakening, the cinema compilation of Attack on Titan's second TV season, will be released in UK and Ireland cinemas on February 21.

The trailer below has SPOILERS for major plot developments in Attack on Titan's second season.

The synopsis of the film is as follows:

The battle against the Female Titan ended in bittersweet victory, but the struggle for humanity's survival rages on. Eren Jaeger and the Scout Regiment are only just starting to unearth the mystery of the ferocious Titans when they are thrust into a terrifying battle once more. Facing horrifying new threats and colossal truths that will shake them to the core, does humanity stand a chance of survival when we don't even know who to trust?

As of writing, there are still tickets available (here) for the film's special screening at the Glasgow Film Festival on Thursday March 1 at 5.30 p.m. at a "Secret Location". According to Anime Limited:

"The location we've chosen is a decidedly appropriate one that will make you feel like one of the Scout Regiment yourself, with drinks on-hand and a bag of free gifts for each and every attendee before the screening of the film. Attendees will be collected and transported to the event from outside of the Glasgow Film Theatre at 5:30PM on the day, and returned to the same location by coach after the event has finished."

The whole Glasgow event will last six hours.
