Cross Account Manga Ends in Shonen Jump

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Manga about boy who maintains angry social media persona launched last June

This year's seventh issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine published the final chapter of Tsunehiro Date's Cross Account manga on Monday. The manga's third and fourth volumes will ship on March 2. The fourth volume, which is the final volume, will also include a bonus extra chapter.

Viz Media published the first three chapters of the manga as part of the "Jump Start" initiative, where Viz Media's Shonen Jump publishes the first three chapters of a new manga simultaneously with the Japanese release. Viz Media describes the manga's story:

Say hello to Daichi, a.k.a. Mr. Harmless. Because of his compulsive need to be liked, he never makes waves and maintains an easy going attitude. So easy going, everyone thinks he's a dud. But online he's a stud! His angry otaku online persona has garnered him thousands of followers! But real life and online life are two very different things. A lesson he's going to learn the hard way!

Date launched the manga last June. Shueisha shipped the manga's second compiled book volume on December 4.
