Funimation Announces Tsuredure Children Simuldub Cast

FUNimation Entertainment announced the English simuldub cast for the first two episodes of Tsuredure Children. The cast includes:
- Austin Tindle as Akagi
- Dallas Reid as Furuya
- Garret Storms as Kaga
- Felecia Angelle as Kaji
- Sara Ragsdale as Minagawa
- Jeannie Tirado as Sasahara
- Stephen Sanders as Takase
- Skyler McIntosh as Takase's Crush
- J. Michael Tatum as Yukawa
- Kyle Igneczi as Chiaki
- Alison Viktorin as Kana
- Ricco Fajardo as Goda
- Jad Saxton as Hotaru
- Kristi Kang as Kamine
- Anthony Bowling as Sugawara
- Sarah Weidenheft as Takano
Tabitha Ray is directing the dub with lead ADR engineer Nagaris Johnson, assistant ADR engineers Ryan Urbanovsky and Austin Sisk, and mixing engineer Nathanael Harrison. Deborah Crane is writing the scripts.
The English dub will premiere on FunimationNow on August 16 at 4:00 p.m. EDT.
The anime premiered in Japan on July 4, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series in Japanese with English subtitles as it airs. Each episode is 15 minutes long.
Hiraku Kaneko (The Qwaser of Stigmata, Valkyrie Drive: Mermaid, Manyū Hiken-chō) is directing the anime at Studio Gokumi, and Tatsuhiko Urahata (Saki, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, Haganai NEXT) is in charge of the series scripts. Etsuko Sumimoto (Yuri Kuma Arashi) is designing the characters.
Inori Minase is performing the anime's opening theme song "Aimaimoko," and Yui Ogura is performing the ending theme song "Dear."
The four-panel manga is dedicated "to those of you who can't say 'I love you.'" The manga chronicles a series of short school romance stories in an omnibus format.
Wakabayashi launched the manga online in October 2012, and then also began serializing it with new material in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2015. Kodansha published the manga's eighth compiled book volume on June 16. Kodansha Comics is releasing the manga digitally in English.
