Houbunsha Reveals Kirara Fantasia Smartphone RPG

Houbunsha revealed at the "Manga Time Kirara Festa" event on Sunday that it is releasing a smartphone role-playing game titled Kirara Fantasia. The official website for the game also began streaming a trailer on Sunday. (Note: the video on the official website is region-locked to Japan.)

The "Manga Time Kirara meets Fantasy RPG" all-star game will feature characters from manga that run in the various Manga Time Kirara manga magazines. The game will be free to play with in-game items costing extra. Houbunsha plans to release the game this year. Drecom is developing the game alongside Meteorise.

The game will feature characters from the following manga:

• Sunshine Sketch (Hidamari Sketch)
• Magic of Stella
• New Game!
• Urara Meirochō
• A Channel
• School-Live!
• Kin-iro Mosaic
• Yuyushiki

The website will reveal more characters and manga series joining the lineup at a later date. The game will be voiced.

A Channel's bb Kuroda and Madoka Magica/Hidamari Sketch's Ume Aoki are also designing original characters for the game.

The official website has also launched a web manga based on the game. Arima is drawing the full-color manga.
