"Tulip" DLC adds new song, idols on Thursday

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming a Japanese and English video for its The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls Viewing Revolution game on Sunday and Monday, respectively. The videos preview the game's fifth DLC, "Tulip," which includes the song and new idols. The DLC debuted on Thursday.

The game launched in Japan last October, on the same day as the PlayStation VR. The game launched in a digital-only English release in Southeast Asia on April 21.

The game creates a "never-before-seen magical stage" concert at the Maihama Amphitheater (the site of the franchise's first live concert in real life). Players can customize the colors and number of light sticks (up to a maximum of eight), which they control via the PlayStation Move controllers, DualShock 4 controllers, or other means. Players can also freely move between six different audience seating areas, and the concert features brand-new outfits for the idols.

"Yes! Party Time!!," is the title's brand-new theme song. The title has a total of three songs: "Yes! Party Time!!," "Onegai! Cinderella," and "Star!!" The game's previous four DLC has added one new song for each release, including "Atashi Ponkotsu Android," "Snow Wings," "GOIN'!!!" and "Orange Sapphire."
