'A Channel' TV Anime's Blu-ray Disc Box to Include New Video Anime

A Blu-ray Disc Box for the 2011 A-Channel television anime will ship on September 27 with a new original video anime (OVA) episode, "Nabe o Tabeyō" (Let's Eat a Pot). The box will also include all 12 television anime episodes, two previously released A-Channel + smile OVA episodes, all 11 +A-Channel shorts, and a bonus CD with the soundtrack, theme songs, and character songs (including the song "Viba Nabe! Yottsu Hoshi" that will be heard in the OVA).
The creator of the original manga, bb Kuroda, is personally illustrating the outer jacket of the box and an exclusive comic for the set.
The anime revolves around the "cute and relaxed" everyday life of four high school girls: the flighty Run, the reckless Tōru, the timid Yūko, and the level-headed Nagi.
