PS4/PS Vita/PC game double pack slated for March 24

Spike Chunsoft began streaming a promotional video for Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, its double pack of Zero Escape: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (999) and Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, on Thursday. The video previews some of the updated visuals and new Japanese voices for 999.

Aksys Games streamed a video introducing the new features in 999 last month. The video introduces the new adventure and novel modes and previews the English voices.

Aksys Games will release the game on March 24 in North America, where it will be available physically and digitally for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, and digitally on PC via Steam. In Europe, the game will also launch digitally for PS4 and Steam on March 24, but the PS Vita version of the game has been delayed to the fourth quarter of 2017. The game will launch in Japan for PC on March 25, and for PS4 and PS Vita on April 13.

999 will be updated with HD graphics and English and Japanese voice acting. Virtue's Last Reward already features both English and Japanese voice-overs, but 999 does not. Aksys revealed that some voice actors from Virtue's Last Reward will reprise their roles in the new 999 ports. The collection will not include [Highlight to read minor 999 spoilers] the exclusive extra ending from 999: The Novel, the iOS port of 999.

Aksys Games released 999 for Nintendo DS in 2009 and the sequel, Virtue's Last Reward, for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita in 2013. The third game in the series, Zero Time Dilemma, shipped for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS on June 28.
