In-game Kazuchika "Rainmaker" Okada collaboration items launch this month

A promotional video for the Tekken 7: Fated Retribution arcade game's collaboration with New Japan Pro Wrestling debuted at the "an presents Dai Pro-Wres Matsuri 2017" event on Tuesday. The video features the crossover's in-game contents that will launch this month.

A costume inspired by New Japan Pro Wrestling's Kazuchika "Rainmaker" Okada will be available for Tekken character King during the collaboration. King's Rage Art move will change to Rainmaker's rain of money. From January 23 to February 22, players can unlock collaboration T-shirts and King's crossover costume when they play specific numbers of times. Players will also be able to purchase the in-game "New Japan Pro Wrestling x Heihachi" and "Bullet Club" T-shirts starting on January 23. Real-world collaboration T-shirts for players are slated to go on sale at the end of January. Collaboration 2D items with the "King x Okada Kazuchika" and "New Japan Pro-Wres" designs will launch in spring.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released released Tekken 7: Fated Retribution arcade up date for Tekken 7 in Japan on July 5. The update includes a graphics update as well as a new system, new stages, new costumes, new items, and new characters. Bandai Namco Entertainment added Akuma (Gōki) from CAPCOM's Street Fighter games and Nina Williams as playable characters in the update.

Tekken 7: Fated Retribution will be the basis for Tekken 7's eventual launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC in the West in early 2017, and in spring 2017 in Japan. Lee Chaolan, Violet, and Miguel are also joining the roster for the home console release of the game.
