Funimation to Release Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi – The World's Greatest First Love Anime on Home Video

FUNimation Entertainment announced on Tuesday that it will release the Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi – The World's Greatest First Love anime on home video on March 7, 2017. The cover art for the release reveals that it will include both television anime seasons and the original video anime (OVAs).
Funimation noted that it will be the company's first home video release of a boys' love title.
The first and second seasons premiered in April and October 2011, respectively. Crunchroll streamed both series as they aired in Japan. The two OVAs shipped with the fifth and sixth compiled volumes of the manga.
A film, Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi: Yokozawa Takafumi no Baai, opened in 2014.
The original The World's Greatest First Love: The Case of Ritsu Onodera (Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi ~Onodera Ritsu no Baai~) manga by Shungiku Nakamura (Junjo Romantica) follows the tension between a newly recruited manga editor named by Ritsu Onodera and his tyrannical editor-in-chief Masamune Takano — who happen to share a common past. Viz Media's SuBLime imprint is publishing the manga in English.
