Atelier Shallie Plus PS Vita Game's English Trailer Highlights Characters, Additional Content

Those who purchase game in 1st month of availability get extra costumes, background music

Koei Tecmo America began streaming a trailer on Wednesday for its North American release of Atelier Shallie Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea, the PlayStation Vita port of the Atelier Shallie game. The video outlines the game's characters, bringing together all protagonists of the game's "Dusk" series, along with revealing additional story episodes and other content.

The game will ship in North America on January 17. Those who purchase the game in its first month will get five extra costumes, as well as special background music chosen from the entire Atelier series available for download. The game will be available digitally and in a physical collector's edition.

The PlayStation Vita version adds optimization features, a new message log feature, additional costumes, and all the DLC from the PlayStation 3 version.

NIS America is offering the collector's edition exclusively through its online store. In addition to the game, the release will include a 48-page softcover art book, 30-track original soundtrack CD, and a 6” by 6” microfiber cloth with an image of the game's two protagonists.

The PlayStation Vita game shipped in Japan on March 3. Koei Tecmo Games released the original PlayStation 3 game in North America on March 10, 2015 and in Europe on March 13, 2015.

The game's story serves as the final chapter in the "Dusk" trilogy, and takes place in a world where the waterbeds are drying up and plant life is dying. Two young alchemists meet in an oasis. Players can as one of two heroines: Shallistera (voiced by Kotori Koiwai in the Japanese version) or Shallotte (Sumire Uesaka).
