Cygames Announces Project Awakening Game for 'High-End Consumers'

Cygames (Granblue Fantasy) announced a new game titled Project Awakening at its Cygames Next 2016 event last Sunday. Cygames revealed the game as a "completely new title intended for high-end consumers." The company didn't specify what platform(s) the new game will be for. Cygames is streaming a trailer for the game.
Cygames Osaka is part of the game's development. Cygames founded Cygames Osaka last year with a focus on developing games for the PlayStation 4. The company is taking applications for development staff for the game.
The company also revealed the Lost Order smartphone game at the event. Platinum Games is developing the game, Yasumi Matsuno (Vagrant Story producer, Final Fantasy XII scenario and supervisor) is serving as development director, and Akihiko Yoshida (Vagrant Story character design, Final Fantasy XII main character design) is the art director.
Platinum Games is also collaborating with Cygames on the Granblue Fantasy Project Re:LINK action role-playing game.
Cygames had also revealed the Princess Connect! Re:Dive smartphone game at the event.
The game is a sequel to the Princess Connect! smartphone game, which Cygames released in February 2015. The "anime RPG" had featured animation by Wit Studio, and the sequel will also feature animation by the studio. The sequel will be available in 2017. Cygames' free manga service Cycomics will feature a one-shot "prelude story" manga for the game.
