Arc System Works, Story of Seasons Creator Announce Birthdays Game With Western Release Planned

Arc System Works announced on Thursday that it is collaborating with Bokujō Monogatari (Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons) game series creator Yasuhiro Wada (TOYBOX Inc.) on a new PlayStation 4 god game, tentatively titled Birthdays. The game ships on January 19, 2017 in Japan. NIS America announced that it will publish the game in North America and Europe but has not revealed western release dates.
The company opened a teaser website for the game.
NIS America describes Birthdays:
Birthdays (Working Title) allows players to create and evolve an entire world by steadily maintaining your world's environment, starting from the smallest organisms to the birth of civilizations.
The most recent entry in the Bokujō Monogatari series is the Nintendo 3DS game Bokujō Monogatari: Mitsu no Sato no Taisetsu na Tomodachi, which shipped in June in Japan. XSEED Games will release the game in North America as Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns in 2017.
