XSEED Streams E3 Trailers for Fate/EXTELLA, Legend of Heroes, Touhou, Akiba's Beat, More

XSEED Games began streaming several E3 trailers on Friday for the following games: Corpse Party (3DS), Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II, Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns, Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity, Akiba's Beat, and Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star.
Corpse Party (3DS)
The Nintendo 3DS port will get a "Back to School Edition" physical release for US$49.99 and a digital release via the Nintendo eShop for US$29.99. The physical release is slated to ship this summer and will include Naomi Nakashima and Seiko Shinohara figurines and a soundtrack CD. The game's new features include 3D art stills, touch screen menus, four additional extra chapters, expanded story scenes, an in-game character encyclopedia, redrawn character sprites, and newly arranged music tracks.
Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II
XSEED Games plans to release Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II this fall for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. The company released The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel in December.
Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns
Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns is slated for release on Nintendo 3DS in 2017. In Japan, the game will ship on June 23 as a celebration of the Bokujō Monogatari game franchise's 20th anniversary. The game features three locales: Lulucoco Town (Lulucoco Mura), Tsuyukusa Village (Tsuyukusa no Sato or Dew Grass Village), and Wes Town.
Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity
XSEED Games will publish the independent game Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity (Touhou Kōkishin, or Adventures of Scarlet Curiosity) for PlayStation 4 this fall. The game will be available digitally only. Ankake Supa developed the 3D action role-playing game, and Mediascape released the game on PlayStation 4 in Japan in February as part of its "Play, Doujin" project.
Akiba's Beat
Acquire's Akiba's Beat is slated for this winter in English on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. In Japan, the game is slated for this fall on the same systems. The game is a successor to the Akiba's Trip series of games, but is the first "action RPG" in the series.
Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star
Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star is slated for release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in English this winter. In Japan, the game is slated for November 10 on the same systems. Kinoko Nasu is writing the game's main scenario, and Hikaru Sakurai is the scenario assistant. Aruko Wada is designing the characters, and Takashi Takeuchi is credited as the Fate series original character designer. Type-Moon is producing the game's music.
