Sentai Filmworks Licenses Cobra the Animation

2010 anime focuses on classic space pirate character
Sentai Filmworks announced at Anime Boston on Friday that it has licensed the 2010 television anime Cobra The Animation.
Crunchyroll simulcast the 13-episode television series, and also streamed the Cobra The Animation: The Psychogun and Cobra The Animation: Time Drive original video anime that preceded the television series.
The original Space Adventure Cobra manga began in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1978, and the manga was already adapted by Osamu Dezaki into an animated television series and film in 1982. Urban Vision and later Discotek released the 1982 movie in North America. Nozomi Entertainment released the television series in North America.
