Symphogear Anime Gets Sequel (Updated)
posted on by Egan Loo
A sequel of the Symphogear anime franchise has been green-lit. The announcement was made at the Symphogear Live 2016 event at Tokyo's Nippon Budōkan venue on Saturday.
Thomas Romain, the art setting designer for the Senki Zesshō Symphogear franchise and many other works from the studio Satelight, had previously said in November that "Symphogear will come back again!"
The franchise premiered with a 13-episode television series in January 2012. The third Symphogear television anime, Senki Zesshō Symphogear GX, aired from July to September of last year.

Update: Romain amended his previous statement of a fourth Symphogear season, only saying now that a Symphogear sequel has been green-lit.
