This year's 12th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday the performers of the theme songs for the television anime of Kōhei Horikoshi's My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) manga. But what would you do if you were one of the 20 percent who were born Quirkless?Middle school student Izuku Midoriya wants to be a hero more than anything, but he hasn't got an ounce of power in him. With no chance of ever getting into the prestigious U.A. High School for budding heroes, his life is looking more and more like a dead end. Horikoshi wrote the new story for the CD, and the anime's series composition writer Yousuke Kuroda turned the story into the drama CD's script.
Viz Media is releasing the manga in English digitally as Shueisha publishes new chapters in Japan. The company also published the third volume in print on February 2.
The manga inspired Hirofumi Neda's Boku no Hero Academia Smash!! manga on Shueisha's digital Shonen Jump+ app. The manga launched in November. Viz Media published a preview of the manga in English in its Weekly Shonen Jump digital manga anthology.
