This year's 52nd issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine announced on Wednesday that several new series will launch in the magazine in the new year, including a new series by Hiroyuki Nishimori (Cheeky Angel). The manga, tentatively titled Hiiragi-sama wa Jibun o Sagashiteiru. (Master Hiiragi is Looking for Self), will launch in 2016's 10th issue on February 3. Although "the key to the story is this mysterious white-haired girl" (pictured below), the magazine teases that the story will be a new form of "slice-of-life comedy" with other elements.
Nishimori began Cheeky Angel (Tenshi na Konamaiki) in 1999, and Viz Media published all 20 volumes in English. The series inspired an anime adaptation in 2002. Nishimori's Kyou Kara Ore Wa!! manga also inspired an original video anime adaptation in 1992.
