The official PlayStation Japan YouTube channel began streaming a promotional video for Gust Corporation's upcoming Sophie no Atelier: Fushigi na Hon no Renkinjutushi (Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book) game on Tuesday. The promotional video introduces the game's characters, previews some of the game's alchemy and battle scenes, and previews the game's theme song by Rurutia.

Gust Corporation began streaming a "director's choice" video on Thursday introducing battle scenes, and comparing the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita versions.

Gust Corporation also began streaming character image videos for the game's characters over the past two weeks. The new videos preview five of the main characters: Corneria, Harol, Julio, Leon, Fritz, and Meklet and Atomina.

Gust Corporation previously streamed the character image videos for Sophie, Plachta, Monika, and Oskar.

Gust Corporation also began streaming a Doll Make customize video for the game on October 21. The video previews the game's Doll Make feature, where players can customize Plachta's abilities and appearance using collected items.

Gust Corporation previously streamed the game's opening movie in September.

Those who pre-order the game will receive an exclusive Doll Make costume for Plachta, a special music pack, a download code for an Atelier series theme, a download code for the "Sophie's Basket" item, and a download code for the game's collaboration with the Chain Chronicle smartphone game.

The game's Premium Box includes a visual book, a Sophie no Atelier: Sound Archives, a poster, a character clear marker set, and a download code for five in-game items.

Yuka Aisaka stars in the game as Sophie Neuenmuller, and Yuka Iguchi plays Plachta, the book that teaches her alchemy. The rest of the cast includes Aya Suzaki as Monika, Seiichirō Yamashita as Oskar, Yui Kondou as Corneria, Tarusuke Shingaki as Harol, Genki Okawa as Julio, Mayumi Iizuka as Leon, Kenyu Horiuchi as Fritz, Sachi Matsumoto as Meklet, and Hina Kina as Atomina
