Indonesian Version of Narcissu Novel Available at AFA Indonesia

Indonesian publisher Katalis Pustaka announced on its Facebook page on Saturday that it will begin selling its Indonesian version of Tomo Kataoka's Narcissu novel during Anime Festival Indonesia from Friday to Sunday. The novel will be available at Indonesian Japanese toy retailer minomise's booth during the convention. Katalis Pustaka also announced that it will ship the novel to bookstores in mid-October.
Katalis Pustaka also began streaming a trailer for the novel's Indonesian release.

The novel adapts Kataoka's 2005 Narcissu and 2007 Narcissu: Side 2nd visual novels. MF Bunko J published the novel in 2008. The novel centers around a protagonist diagnosed with lung carcinoma on his 20th birthday. In the hospital, he meets Setsumi Sakura, a similarly terminally ill woman. They decide to run away from the hospital to find their own place to die, refusing to spend their last days in a hospital "at 7F" or with their family "at home."
Katalis Pustaka announced that it will translate the novel into Indonesian in May. The company also previously published the novel adaptation of Makoto Shinkai's 5 Centimeters Per Second anime film.
Sekai Project translated and released the Narcissu 1st and Narcissu 2nd visual novels in English on PC via Steam in 2014. It plans to develop a remake of the visual novels, working with Kataoka to create a new game that will include: a Narcissu 0 remake based on scenarios in the PlayStation Portable version; remakes of Narcissu 1st, 2nd and 3rd (the latter of which is based on Kataoka's story in Narcissu 3rd Die Dritte Welt); and Narcissu 4th with completely new material. Content upgrades include updated scenarios, material from drama CDs and other side material, new artwork, and re-recorded voices.
