Brynhildr in the Darkness English Dub Cast Announced

Sentai Filmworks announced the cast for its English dub of Brynhildr in the Darkness on Thursday. The cast, under director Kyle Jones, includes:

• Blake Shepard as Ryota Murakami
• Jamie Marchi as Kuroneko
• Christina Stroup as Kana
• Emily Neves as Kazumi
• Jessica Calvello as Kotori
• Carolyn Johnson as Hatsuna
• Ty Mahany as Man in Black
• Molly Searcy as Nanami
• Kira Vincent-Davis as Saori
• Nancy Novotny as Kashiwagi
• Adam Noble as Ichijiku
• Meaghan Avocato as Initializer

Sentai Filmworks will release the series on Blu-ray and DVD on October 6.

Years ago, Ryouta Murakami's childhood friend Kuroneko claimed to have proof that aliens existed. But when tragedy strikes, Kuroneko dies and Ryouta is seriously injured. Now a high school student, Ryouta still looks to the stars in hopes of proving Kuroneko right. But when a new student who looks eerily similar to his deceased friend transfers into his class, Ryouta soon discovers that the answer to “is there life out there?” may be much closer than he thinks, and in a way he never expected.

The 13-episode series debuted in spring 2014 and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
