Attendees of screenings on September 14-15 will receive poster, clear folders, bag

Singaporean cinema chain Golden Village announced on Friday that it will hold a fan preview screening of the Love Live! The School Idol Movie film on September 14 and 15 at 7:00 p.m., ahead of its September 17 Singaporean premiere.

The screening will cost SG$20 for members, and SG$24 for non-members. Attendees of each screening will also receive an A2 Poster, three A4 clear folders, and a paper bag, but the designs will differ for each screening.

Anime distributor Odex previously streamed an English-subtitled trailer for the film, revealing its September 17 Singaporean premiere.

The film premiered in Japan on June 13, and earned 400 million yen (about US$3.24 million) on 121 screens in its first two days. The film eventually earned more than 2.4 billion yen (about US$19 million) as of August 16, 65 days after the film opened at the box office, surpassing the 2.08 billion yen (about US$17.7 million) box-office earnings of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie Part 3: Rebellion film, and the 2.28 billion (about US$18.2 million) yen gross of the Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora no Hikkoshi Monogatari ~Saboten Daishūgeki film.

In 2010, the anime studio Sunrise, Lantis, and ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G Magazine launched Love Live! as a self-described "ultimate user-participation project" that lets its fans vote on the future of the fictional idols. A series of music CDs and animated music videos then followed. The members of the project announced in 2012 that a full anime series had been green-lit for the following year. The second season of the anime was announced in June 2013, and it debuted in April 2014.
