Silver Link Animates Closers Online Game's Promotional Video

Sega began streaming a promotional video for its Closers Online multiplayer action role-playing game on Sunday. Animation Studio Silver Link animated the promotional video, and Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas (Hunter × Hunter, Parasyte -the maxim-) performs the game's theme song "Cast Your Shell."

Sega also streamed another promotional video on Monday for the game introducing the game's Japanese cast, characters, and mechanics.

The game's Japanese cast includes:

Nobunaga Shimazaki as Haruto Kaguragi

Aoi Yūki as Mikoto Amamiya

Nao Tōyama as Yuri Asuma

Tomokazu Sugita as J

Minami Tsuda as Mistilteinn

Naddic Games developed Closers Online and Nexon published it in South Korea in December 2014. Sega is publishing and localizing the game in Japan. The game is set in Seoul, after the opening of a dimensional portal leads to disastrous attacks by monsters. Players control a team of "Closers," psychic soldiers adept at fighting the monsters and closing the interdimensional gates.

Sega launched the game's open beta phase in Japan on August 18.
