To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts Manga Takes 1-Month Break
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The September issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine revealed on August 8 that manga creator duo Maybe are taking a one-month break from their To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts (Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e) manga. The manga will resume in the magazine's next issue, which Kodansha will publish on September 9. Maybe apologized to the readers, and promised plot developments in the next chapter.
Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine describes Maybe's "hard-boiled fantasy" series:
In war men become beasts. War makes gods out of beasts. When war ends gods...Wolves walk the forest of despair, the wasteland of lamentation, the sea of bitterness, in the time of dark and light. To kill those that were once their friends.
Maybe launched the manga in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in June 2014, and Kodansha published the manga's second volume on June 9.
The duo's completed Dusk Maiden of Amnesia manga inspired a television anime in 2012. Maybe have also been serializing the Tales of Wedding Rings (Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari) manga in Square Enix's Monthly Big Gangan magazine since March 2014. Crunchyroll is digitally publishing the Tales of Wedding Rings manga in English.
