Danchigai Anime's TV Ad Promotes July 9 Premiere
posted on by Karen Ressler
Japanese publisher Ichijinsha began streaming a commercial for the upcoming television anime of Kazusa Yoneda's Danchigai four-panel manga on Friday.
The anime reunites some of the core staff from the Military! television anime. Hiroshi Kimura (Military!, Recorder and Randsell, Hamatora) is directing the series at Creators in Pack Tokyo. Eriko Itō (Hamatora, Ane Log) is designing the characters, and Dream Creation is producing the series. Masakatsu Oomuro (Military!, I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying) is directing sound production at Dax Production.
Each of the four female main characters will have her own theme song in the anime, sung by her respective voice actress. These include:
- "Early Morning" by Mutsuki Nakano (Satomi Akesaka)
- "Let a good day" by Yayoi Nakano (Mikako Komatsu)
- "Gently Mischief" by Uzuki Nakano (Sora Tokui)
- "Princess Durandal" by Satsuki Nakano (Sayaka Horino)
The comedy manga follows the everyday lives of five siblings—four sisters and one brother—who share a multi-unit apartment (danchi). Mutsuki has a level-headed personality. Haruki likes video games, while Yayoi likes exercise. Uzuki and Satsuki are twins.
Yoneda (Little Busters! manga adaptation) began the series in Manga 4-Koma Palette June 2011, and the third compiled volume shipped in April. The manga's fourth online chapter debuted on Ichijinsha's Manga 4-Koma Palette Online website this month.
The anime is slated to premiere on July 9. Each episode will be five minutes long.
