Square Enix revealed the opening trailer for the enhanced 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years on Thursday. The English version is available on Apple's App Store for iOS, the Square Enix Market, Google Play store for Android devices, and now will head to Stream on May 12.
Square Enix originally released Final Fantasy IV: The After Years as a mobile game in Japan in 2008, followed by an enhanced WiiWare port in North America, Europe and Japan in 2009. It was then bundled in the Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection release with Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy IV: Interlude for the PlayStation Portable in Japan, North America, Europe, and Australia in 2011.
A mobile port of the Final Fantasy IV Nintendo DS 3D remake was released for iOS and Android in February 2013. Square Enix released the Final Fantasy V mobile port the following March, and it plans to release Final Fantasy VI for smartphones too (with a Final Fantasy VII port possibly next).
